Favourite Asian Drama Actors and Actresses 2025

We’ve watched many dramas since our blog listing our most favourite drama actors and actresses in 2020. There are a few of which we continue to follow but many we’ve not continued to follow and this is due to not being able to access them and so we slowly moved away from them or no longer found any dramas we like to watch.

The amount of new Taiwanese dramas available to us have decreased considerably. We only saw old dramas on Netflix and YouTube. Most of them we’ve already watched back when Taiwanese dramas were so popular. Though we were struggling to find Taiwanese dramas available for us to watch, we were finding we were also moving away from watching Taiwanese dramas.

It doesn’t feel like we have much access to a lot of Korean dramas, either. Netflix is the only place where we can access Korean dramas and the selection of newly released Korean dramas available to our country are few and we feel they are not as addictive watches as those we watched in the past. We also don’t enjoy dramas which has a sinister plot alongside a romance main plot which is what is available to us.

Meanwhile, Chinese dramas are abundant with the types of dramas we like. We love costume dramas. We like dramas with fantastical elements like xianxia, and we have always loved transmigration dramas. We didn’t find many of these transmigration dramas a few years back, but it’s not hard to come across one now. We do watch some modern Chinese dramas, but costume dramas are what we love.
